When it comes to participating in a soccer camp, you are sure to have many questions. Likewise, if you are a parent who has contracted the camp for your child, you will also want to know certain things. That’s why we have prepared this post to answer frequently asked questions for a soccer camp.

Although some of these questions or answers may vary from club to club, many of them have a common answer. And if anything remains unanswered, you can always ask through the Soccer Camps Pro contact form.

Official Soccer Camps and equipment

Sometimes, the question may arise as to whether the camps you can find in Soccer Camps Pro are official. The answer is short: yes. The camps arise from official partnerships with Benfica, Bayern, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.

In fact, each camp includes, among other things, the latest official club kit (depending on the club, sometimes you have to buy it during the registration process). Shirt, pants, socks… And if during the registration process you want to buy more uniforms, you can do it without any problem.

Also, a diploma certified by the club is given to each participant at the end of the camp. It is another way to offer an official recognition that you have been part of the experience, apart from being a nice souvenir.

What should you bring to the camp?

Another of the youth soccer camp questions is whether it is necessary for participants to bring something with them. Although in each camp the club will provide you with everything, it is advisable to bring the following material with you:

– Soccer cleats

– Individual water bottle

– Packed lunch and snacks

– Sunscreen

– Shinguards

– The full training kit

– It is recommended to bring an isotonic drink

Food and snacks are not included, so it is convenient to bring them in a suitable container. The break for children to eat is usually between 12 pm and 13 pm.

Age difference, weather and other issues

Finally, we take a look at situations that may arise before, during or at the end of the camp. First of all, the age difference. Our camps are usually aimed at children between 6-7 years old and 14-16 years old, so the groups may have participants of different ages.

In this case, the coaches evaluate at the beginning of the camp how they can form smaller groups of 12-14 players per coach, separated by age and/or level. It should be noted that special discounts are available for siblings or large groups, with prior notification.

What happens if the weather is bad? Unfortunately, this type of phenomena is beyond our control, so participants leave the camp, guided by the coaches to an enclosed area. There is no refund if the camp is cancelled due to bad weather.
